Wild Heart Ministries hosts faith-centered weekend retreats for women carrying a private grief. Every retreat is free to the women who attend. Your gift covers the lodge, the meals and the study materials for their weekend.
Every retreat is free
Our retreats rely on the giving of private donors and churches. A woman who comes to a Wild Heart retreat pays nothing for her room, her meals or her books.
Each retreat is four days, Thursday to Sunday. Six women attend, with three trained volunteer facilitators. The weekend is Bible study and small group conversation about grief, shame and forgiveness.
The Lodge
The retreats are held in Troy, Montana, at Swanson Creek Lodge. The lodge is on 100 acres of meadow and forest at the base of the Cabinet Mountains. It has eight bedrooms, a full kitchen and a fireplace, with trails nearby. Each woman has her own room.
What your gift covers
No gift is too small. Here is where it goes.
$1,500 covers the lodge for one four-day retreat.
$1,000 feeds the women, staff and volunteers for a full retreat weekend.
$100 covers one session with a biblical counselor.
$100 helps a woman with the cost of travel when she needs help to get here.
$60 covers a workbook, a Bible and the Bible study for one woman.
$25 to $100 covers supplies, printed cards and brochures, website upkeep and training for the team.

Who leads the retreats?
Marlo Keating founded Wild Heart Ministries and leads the retreats with a team of trained volunteer facilitators from Montana and North Idaho.
